Per & Konstantinos: exchanging vows in a fairytale-like landscape
In one of the most beautiful Greek winter destinations, the picturesque village of Papigo with the deciduous forests and the snowy peak of Astraka in the background, we found the most impressive setting for Per and Konstantinos' photo shoot.
As we were discussing with the couple about the photo shoot location, we decided we wanted something as unique as their love story. Looking for a genuine and at the same time dreamy place for them, Papigo immediately stood out from the rest of our options. There was no doubt that the scenic village was the perfect fit for Per and Konstantinos.
We fell in love with the mountainous region of Zagorochoria in Epirus and the village of Papigo for other photo shoots in the past. The scenery was astounding and the imposing mountains left us in awe.
The stone volumes that were forming a work of art. The winter’s color palette was transforming the landscape into something magical. The grayish colors of the rocks, the earthy green and orange tones of the forest, the deep blue waters of Voidomatis, and the falling snow illuminating the night gave us the impression that we were in a fairytale.
The photo shoot mainly took place in the traditional resort of Avragonio. In the shade of the snowy peak of Astraka, being in perfect harmony with the landscape, Avragonio was exactly what we were looking for.
In the natural yet traditional location, Pompon Story's decoration succeeded in perfectly matching traditional elements with modern tones and contemporary styling leading to an impressive result.
Contrasts prevailed. Τhe colorful handmade fabrics and the beautifully made bouquets were in harmonic contrast with the imposing grayish rocks and the winter shades of nature.
The photoshoot first was held in Avragonio’s interior with the couple sitting in front of the fireplace. Then, we went outside where Per and Konstantinos had a delicious brunch overlooking the snow-capped mountain peaks. At this dreamy table, the couple enjoyed hot chocolate, champagne and desserts that they made themselves.
